The text in web pages can be set to blink constantly. This is a standard feature of the basic markup language used to write pages, but almost everyone agrees that blinking text is visually distracting.
Step 0

No more blinking, please!
If you must read a document that has this irritating feature enabled, it is possible to suppress the blinking in the Firefox browser.
To suppress blinking, enter about:config in the URL field of the browser. This will open a menu of configuration items, as shown in the illustration. Scroll down to highlight the item browser.blink_allowed. Pressing the Enter key will cause the item to change from true to false. When you return to the original page and reload it with the Refresh browser button, the text will not blink.
This will stop all text blinking in all pages. But since this is a largely useless feature, you are not likely to miss it.
